We have noticed that with this Update, a few Battle Ratings have been especially discussed, namely those of the Meteor F3 and Vampire FB. It has been argued that those vehicles are badly situated on BR 8.0 and are not able to compete with the more modern jets such as F86 and MiG 15. We have taken a close look at the data available to investigate and see if we might have missed something.
However, the actual performance in battle of both Meteor and Venom (edit: typo) Vampire in fact exceed the performance of all F86 series aircraft, as well as others like the F2H2, La-15, La-174 and first Me 262 C. Especially in the category of flyouts vs. deaths, which represents the survivability of the vehicle, Meteors and Vampires perform better. This is why, for the moment, we have decided to keep these two jets where they are. With more diversity in vehicles in future updates, this situation may, of course, change.
We do realize that this situation may surprise some players and be assured that we will continue to monitor this situation closely.
