Getting a new rig 4/9/2015

Here's the specs, Once I get it and play with it some I will update you guys on how well it operates. I had it custom built at cyberpowerpc.com, normally I would build my own rig but since I was investing so much into this build ($1500) I would rather have someone who has built many of these, build it. Still a few things here and there that I will improve on/upgrade in the near future like the fans and ram but this is it for now. Maybe after this build I will finally be able to fight at The Crown in PS2 with more than 20 fps haha.

looks like a decent build, but if im reading it right no SSD?

i think you are play a little to much to have it professionally over clocked

I have a SSD already, and yea I sorta agree with you.

It is a decent build, but you are paying about a $270-300 price markup compared to building it yourself ($ 330-350 markup if you skip the Aerocool V12XT, and stick with the motherboard's built in fan controller)

All in all, the markup is enough to allow you to buy a second GTX 970

And if you go with windows 7 home premium instead of professional, you can also upgrade the cooling to a closed loop liquid cooler.

The factory overclock advertises 15% or better, which likely means they will just push the CPU to 4GHz which every 4690K can hit with with a very small voltage bump (pretty much 2 setting changes in the bios; you likely don't even need to test for stability for such a small overclock).

Other than that, as the build is now, it should not have any trouble with any current game being maxed out.

a nice build but like already stated ssd highly recommended (which u already have) also the gtx 970 doesnt have all 4GB as gddr5 so long as that is not a problem to you have fun!! also liquid cooling highly recommended just make sure you have some airflow/heatsink over the vrm on your mobo otherwise you might have some voltage drop problems like i had but then again i have a different mobo

I would recommend building it yourself. It's not to difficult and cyberpowerpc is rubbish with terrible support. Over clocking is easy to do as well, especially with an Asus motherboard
