Hardware and Software troubleshooting in general -not a SME on any particular area. My RL job involves more with PLC's and relays but have plenty of experience working with computer hardware/software.

A little more background - Been working with anything computer / gaming related since about age 6 or so. First computer was a Tandy 1000 RL (circa 1991, I believe). No looking back after that. I've maintained a "PC Gamer" through and through all the years (only dropping down to consoles for sports titles and maybe a few others). Nothing will ever take the place of my trusty keyboard + mouse :)
I love to talk shop and help others with PC builds, advice, etc... I did a new build for the first time in about 5 years back in 2013 (had other life event "priorities" during that time, unfortunately). I am currently putting together the initial plans for a "refresh" of my current build while waiting on the new nVidia Pascal cards and Intel i7 Broadwell-E chips.
Professionally, been working int the technology industry since mid-1999. I've done it all and started at the bottom like most do (*cough* Help Desk *cough*) :) I moved into the Consulting side of the industry in 2011 and have loved it ever since. My focus is on hybrid Cloud design and implementation (on-premise, public and hybrid). I do both pre-sales solution design and post-sales delivery. Primary focus is storage (NetApp) and things related to the VMware, Cisco UCS and Microsoft stacks.
Obviously, I'm just a big nerd that loves what he does :)

Im pretty versatile, I work as Signal Support Systems Specialist for the Army, and I am cross-trained as a Satellite Systems Operator, Help Desk, Network and Systems Administrator.
