Question about SweetFX

Does anyone use this? If you guys arent aware, this is an injector to change the graphics shader in game. I have used this for other games but I wasnt sure about about War Thunder, is it Bannabe?

In theory you could use it, this game doesn't feature any kind of anti cheat software, but the graphics are already good, don't need anything more.

There are some threads on the official forums where folks used them.

But seriously, graphics in a multiplayer dont count for anything. If you run all on low, you got the advantage....

The was a ban wave last year from people "modifying the client" - Gaijin said they were hacking in reality they used sweetfx

People never got their accounts back & gaijin never said sorry, sorry some people enver got a/c's back some people got temp bans

Also, becareful with ANYTHING that hooks in to the client or overlays the client - I been banned recently from using something, but Gaijin is as helpful as a lump of coal on a desert island in a heatwave. I was running bandicam, TSnotifier and some other things using keyhooks

Hey Marrv, after giving it some thought, I think the sweetFX was the reason for your recent ban.
The graphics in game are good enough and if you run low settings with maybe just shadows added for ease of landing,
you will get a higher FPS which will increase your accuracy considerably. I don't think Bandicam had anything to do with it.
People have been recording with Bandicam and Fraps for years without any problem.
My computer is not very big so when I run the game, I disable everything and it gives me more to work with.
As for SweetFX, I think you should kick it to the curb, just sayin'

I do not use sweetfx, never have

Been running over the internet occasionally and the only thing that comes up is that they looked at the stats of players, so basically I was doing well at long range shooting & using the spaa, which seems to be enough of a reason to be banned.

Still not got an answer from them beyond "something must have been on your computer" which I know what they are implying but I dont know WTF it is
