I nominate the KI 45-tei. 2 20mm guns pointed at an up angle are only worthwhile if you can sneak up on a bomber formation. (or maybe the right lone, afk bomber with no belly-gunner) The 37mm in the nose is without hope of upgrade, and about as accurate as a grenade thrown from the cockpit. A quartet of even LMG's would likely be more useful.

the Tempest Vickers have to agree with PapaPnut on that one, also the hurricane mk4 fly's like a bus and moves backwards when firing those cannons.

1-Air2Air. rank regardless,the vickers w/47mm cannon. Slow cyclic rate, inaccurate,and did I mention the slow cyclic rate?It's like the Ralph Nader plane of WT.*Unsafe at any altitude*.
2-Ground attack-ANYTHING British...Idk if it's a bug,or just the airframes blow pharm animulz...but seriously. They have great bombloads once upgraded,but if You're aiming for anything smaller than a airbase/sub-base...well...I hope it's nuclear...
3-Shipping attack-DO series.Great for Shore work,but I can't hit a damn Hvy Cruiser from 200' w/a 1000lb'er w/2 guides,a sherpa,a map,and perhaps a guide dog...idk why
keep in mind I'm a turn-fighter of little/no reknown,and a throughly evil ground attack pilot

I do agree with the KI 45- tei that plane is crap also the vickers is crap, I mean really, the country that gave us the famous Spitfire then comes up with something like the vickers ???????
also wanna put the Firebrand TF Mk IV in the list of worst planes and ofcourse ALL the other jap planes really.
And mr Graigep17 the Hurricane Mk IV (BR 1.7) is a great plane if you learn how to use it..
Dont use it in turnfight but use it for bomber hunting and shooting down heavy fighters.
I have 103 kills with that plane, I use it in my 4.3 br line up but it is at its best in a 2.3 max BR line up.
hunt the Ju 87 Stuka`s and the HE 111 or any other BIG plane ( ez 2 hit with big cannons).
put the gun distance at 400 max.
So you guys complain about the pure ground attacker Tempest Vickers because it's no use in air to air? You guys are weird.

Yup. The Vickers Tempest is a spectacular plane. It's a tempest at a really low BR. The only downside to it is that the shells are solid shot AP that are tough (but not impossible) to use against airplanes.Quote:
