1070? or 1060 refresh

should i get a 1070, or a 1060 refresh (hbm memory)?

just curious. also, i havent googled the difference, was just wondering everyones opinion before taking a peak..

i am upgrading from a 1050 ti before battlegrounds updates its weather system (hopefully). as i get 60fps constant on low and ultra (about half and half) :(

1060 with HBM????????? I don't think there is one with HBM. Did you mean a refreshed version with faster GDDR5?

To answer on your question, deffo go with GTX 1070. It's about 40% faster than GTX 1060.

oh, ok. i just heard rumors about the refresh for 1060 and 1080. wasnt sure if they were out, or not

They are out but they are not HBM.... They are just factory overclocked GDDR5 for GTX 1060 and GDDR5X for GTX 1080 memory blocks. IMHO a waste of money since you can overclock yourself and get the same results.
