I'm just wondering if you guys listen music while playing and what you listen to.
I'll listen to music in games where I don't have to pay attention to the sound around me so much (FPS, etc.)
Usually consists of metal or techno/house
I listen to a 2 hour mix of Fall Out Boy music. Sometimes I listen to 104.7 from here in AZ on iHeartRadio. I listen while playing WoT or WarThunder.
Unless the game I'm playing has a really good soundtrack, I'm generally listening to my vast library of 4,500 some-odd songs, everything ranging from Beethoven, to Metallica, to Voltaire, it'd probably be quicker to list the kinds of music i DON'T listen to XD
When you require to hear steps and gun shot then no, anything else yes.

While gaming, I mostly listen to songs with little to no vocals

playing war thunder it's pretty much classical metal of honour or band of brothers music. gotta set the mood just right.

That's the station I created & listen to nearly everyday. It's constantly evolving as I thumb up & thumb down stuff.
My own homemade anime music mod of course.
Since taking up running, I've progressed from Irish rock to trap music. For some reason, my Tut Tut Child station on Pandora is my favorite while programming.
I don't really listen to music while playing games, normally have the t.v on and listen too that.

Depends on what I'm playing. I've been playing a lot of Diablo 3 lately so I've been listening to a lot of music. Recently, for the most part, I've been listening to 2NE1, Orange Caramel, 4Minute and various other KPop groups.
It depends what I'm playing. Planetside for example, I rarely play music. I really like the chaos of the big battles in the game.
For racing games I always put music, usually drum n bass.
Warthunder branch, so I listen to metal, or some Medal of Honor soundtracks.. When in a Russian tank some CoD:WaW Russian music ;)
