First Impressions of this clan

I found this clan in the messeges/chat feature for squads through War Thunder. I had the pleasure of being interrogated by AOD_BoomBoomStick 😨 lol jk. In any event I ended up talking to AOD_MaturE and was accepted!! This is really where my story begins. I was moved from room to room and introduced to everyone 😥. First let me say I was taken aback by this. It was great to have someone introduce me. After my merry go round it was time to squad up. I ended up playing with AOD_Cpl_Tunnel (get it like carpal tunnel lol), AOD_Tiger2071, AOD_CelticDeth, AOD_EasyPickings, AOD_CaliBoyAce.

I appreciate each and everyone of these guys. I am rank 8 the highest br i have is like 3.3. These guys have far better planes and dropped lineups to play with me. A new member that they never met before. 😭😟😭 lol but seriously each one of these guys are great guys. The culture though is what is probably greatest. Thanks to each one of you all for telling me I was doing great even though i was at the bottom of the list at times. Thanks for checking having my six. Looking forward to flying with you all soon. Just wanted to let you all know my first impressions.

Even more to the point,AOD_CplTunnel and AOD_CaliBoyAce, AOD_EasyPickings are VERY New members themselves,and dropped rank/tier just like the OLD ASS AOD_CelticDeth.Tigers not that new,or old,but He smells of elderberries...*MontyPython reference...look it up Youngsters*Welcome to the fams! Glad to hear it, I know I was kinda shy at first mostly did my own thing at first and worked myself in more and more. Everyone here I great and we all have a similar interest. If you ever start tanking and see me on come swing by and say hi and maybe we could have some fun. Welcome to AOD !

Must say as well, the introduction to the clan has been great.

One thing I'm wondering though, is Realistic Air Battles usually pretty dead? I see the tank rooms, and arcade rooms pretty full, but I've been sitting here two evening straight now, not really playing with anyone :(

For me I like arcade better but if i see you down there i will run with you mos def.

I play realistic air all the time. Happy to teach you a few tricks of the trade ;)

I usually fly realistic a lot with a good amount of people if you ever see me down below feel free to join.

Completely agree with the OP! After also being taken through each chat room on ts3 today, I jumped right in and started flying 3.3's (I'm only lvl 8) with some guys and felt right at home. And I would estimate that my average score per battle has nearly doubled since flying with a squad rather than solo. Mostly because Hellcat gets all the reds chasing his sorry ass, which lines up easy kills for the rest of us :D Hope to see you around, Cadabas! I'm also low BR capable only.

Really do like this clan, Known about them for about 3 years, even arranged some clan battles against them, Always gave me a good impression of them. Once I realized my old clan was calling it a day in WT I decided to join AOD. Really like it. Photon, give me a poke and I will gladly fly RB with ya. I am lvl5 in every country so your pick of plane. I am also using EU Timezone. The more RB players the better.

Have to agree with the OP, everyone has been great in TS and seem to always find someone to squad up with. I have had some marathon days so been able to squad up with.

Maybe for us noob recruits, it would be helpful to have a stickie with which pills we're supposed to take on which days. I'm definitely already messing up the AoD medication regimen. It's given me shaky hands.. or at least that's the excuse I'm going to use as my shooting continues to be shit :D
