As that title sais, I had a rather strange encounter with a Beaufighter today. I was tailing this Beaufighter in a arcade battle, and when I approched to shoot the bugger down he somehow magicly manages to clip my right wing straight off with his damn reargunner in 1 shot. I didn't know that one 7,7mm were that powerful, untill today lol. I will think twice before engaging a Beaufighter nowdays lmao xD
What plane were you using?

they are way to OP in my opinion.
A 7.7/7.6 taking off a wing in 1 shot ?? yeah right..and not just at close range..I have had it happen to me while I was at least 1km away
and not just once ..noooo over a dozen times right now..
Think about it that gunner is in a shaking planehandling a gun that is movingaround because its hanging on a chain or something like that then he starts firing
making the gun shake even more and still he is able to aim and hit your plane at 1 km distance...taking ofwings / tails /pilot kills //etc etc
At close range yes ok , but even then.. and yes i know its arcade but even in arcade its ridiculous.
Anyway I have learned not to get right behind a bomber but try to get him from below or just BnZ him..

Tail gunners have been way too useless for a long time. Personally, I'm happy to see them doing something for a change.
Since bombers don't fly in massive formations and there are no fighter escorts, OP gunners are the only protection they have, Just do as BoomBoom says

Indeed Rayray topgunners are OP aswell but aslong as you can keep up a lot of speed you are more difficult to hit by them
