FaceTrackNoIR
For those of you who always wanted to try out TrackIR but could never get to dishing out the money for it .. here's an alternative..
http://facetracknoir.sourceforge.net/home/default.htm
It's a FREE .. yes FREE application.
I have it installed BUT didn't get to play with it in War Thunder yet.
Here's a video tutorial on how to set it up and configure it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlQRQFFDdU0
Here's a forum thread about it : https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?showtopic=14395
Enjoy!

I used FacetrackNoIR until my ancient computer gave out a puff of smoke for asking it to do so much. It's a neat application. My only recommendation is that to only use FaceTrack while you build your own IR head gear. IR Head Gear works far better, and uses far less resources than your computer trying to calculate where your face "is" and what it is doing.

I have FacetrackNoIR and TrackIR v5 and it works like a charm.... The problem is me :08:
Ingame it's fantastic, but when I turn my head and follow the target my cross-hair stay center...
So the thing is getting your head and hand on joystick working as a team to aim...
3 Turns and I want to throw up :aargh4:
This will take time lol

I used FacetrackNoIR. It's very easy to set up - just watch that youtube video
I use this program for a week or two and it worked pretty well at first. However, the only problem is as you turn your head your actual PC monitor stays stationary which forces you to keep your eyes still. This can become annoying because it is not a "natural" movement and I experienced some pain in my neck.
I found using WASD keys works better. Give it a try though - you might like it.

I have tryed this one. If you get the lightning done correctly and config your cam for best fps it can work like a charm.
