Screenshot Problems

Hi peeps,

I've been having problems taking screenshots in-game (Planetside 2). I use MSI afterburner as it shows temps etc and i've setup my manual curve for my graphics cards fans. No problems there.
I've setup my hotkey and changed the destination save folder. I can take a screenshot of my desktop and any folders open on it and it saves, as it should, to my save location (also makes the "ping" noise)
However when i press the hot key in game, no noise, and only a black screenshot file in my save location.
I use shadowplay for recording. No problems there.
I've had this working before. All my drivers/software are up-to-date

I've tried fraps with the exact same issue (sometimes it doesn't even take the shot)

Is it maybe because Planetside is running x64?

I've also added Launchpad.exe for PS2 to the rocca (think thats what its called) setting to no avail

I don't run PS2 through steam as Steam has caused me problems in the past (pain in the ass sometimes) so i don't have the F12 option.
