Arcade games post minimum to play.

Is there any chance to drop the minimum post requirement to play the arcade games from 100 posts to something lower?

Look around the forum, there is tons of ways to get a post count. The number required is very minimal for an active community member.

I don't know exactly what Archangel's reason is for setting the arcade's post requirements, but if I had to hazard a guess, it would be that it has something to do with promoting forum participation. As Darkness Falls said, there are plenty of ways to get your post count up around here. Replying to welcome threads in your division (Even outside of your division, if you want to really get it up fast), posting on the various forum thread games we have in the off topic chat here, or just trying to help out folks in need in the tech section.

well I figured why not have certain games unlock at specific post count. Like a free one to get a feel for what its like and then more along the way as a reward for participation.

This topic comes up every once in a while, and the point is it never changes and it probably never will. These are classic games that you can play anywhere, but as rainbow said we are trying to get people to participate in our community.

lol what is this? an intervention or something? all I wanted to know was why it was the way it was. I don't have an issue getting posts (I'm on here daily and active). I was more or less curious. I didn't necessarily need the sergeant circle jerk up above. ;)
