Custom Skins

Hey guys,
I have checked and I know I can get custom skins on war thunder, but when I try I can't get them on my spits or even bf109, any clues or tips, I know its under user skins folder, but I don't have it.
and help or cool looking skins I would greatly appreciate it.:thanks:

If you are using steam it should be under (install folder)>Steam>Steamapps>common>Warthunder>Userskin s.

Make sure in your customization screen you hit the wand icon then the reload looking icon(skin refresh basically).
Verify that you your custom skin and model of plane (Spitfire Mk V, etc.) are the same. If they are it should show up.

I can paint skins, but I'm still learning the tricks of the trade.

I usually go to the user Spogooter though, the man is a master. lol
There are a few others that rock too, like NCPirate, Wuax and PROX_GAMING.

thanks, I'm guessing the wand makes a template of the plane to then place the skin in the planes folder?
