Recently my creative juices have been stirring inside of me and i would like to pick up an old hobby for level design. Unfortunately the games i am familiar with this aspect are older I.E Half-Life 1 and 2, Doom 3, and Unreal Tournament but the game mechanics leave me feeling unsatisfied not to mention who really actively plays these games still. Im looking into the cryengine from Crysis 3 but was wondering if anyone knew of other games that support custom maps or campaigns for a single player mod. Thanks
