I'm new here and I guess I didn't get the memo when creating my username! I notice nearly everyone has AOD_USERNAME, and then there's mine... Did I miss something or am I supposed to change it?

Nope! You're good. Once you're inducted by an Officer for the division you wish to join (Guessing Planetside 2), they'll put your account in for membership status, so your name will have AOD_ put in front of it and will turn red.
