I'm a fan of TigerDirect (not just because of the name)
NewEgg is decent but every time i've ordered from them i got a bad part.
I ordered a 650W Power Supply with a graphics cards from tiger direct, and they sent me a 750W Power Supply with a note saying "the graphics card you ordered with this requires 750W, we've upgraded you for free". Been loyal to them since.
Yeah Newegg has been my go to place since ZipZoomFly (AKA Google Gear) closed. I used Tiger Direct a few times. Last time I had order 50 motherboards for a server farm. Out of 50, 14 boards were the wrong boards. When I called they were helpful and even agreed to pay for the return shipping. It took 6 months to get the refund on the boards after hounding them.
Lately, after I research all of the parts I need or want. I use Amazon.
ive had spent more that 10k over the years buying from newegg. and have had extremely good luck. ive had a couple pieces DOA, but they are really good about getting it fixed. have learned that if you talk reallly really nice to person on the other eend of the line, even when you are pissed off, it works wonders
NewEgg has a premier membership thing that gives you free shipping on most items and free returns, plus premium support for a very fair price; just don't order a monitor from them, unless you don't mind dead pixels. Order your monitors from B&H Photo Video, MicroCenter, or Adorama, as they have a 30 day return policy on them and accept dead pixels as a valid return.
Gonna be that guy and say eBay. It's fine as long as you expect the worse hope for the best.
I did a lot of homework on newegg for my computer parts.
I cross referenced them on Amazon on reviews.
I ended up buying everything on Amazon. In general, the prices were slightly lower, and the inventory was better. Plus, I trust the customer service at Amazon A LOT. I have done a ton of purchasing, and never had a problem with a return for ANY reason.. Within days, I have a new item, and my money was refunded to my account. Actually, the second your 'return' slip is scanned at the UPS to mail out, the return hits your Amazon account.
Newegg or Amazon for me, I ordered a refurb asus rog laptop from tigerdirect a few years ago and found that it was short 2gb of advertised memory. Rather than a $20 credit they wanted me to ship it back and wait for a different laptop to be shipped after they processed the return. After explaining the economics they agreed to a credit but it never happened.

UPS was a day late on my 3 day premier membership shipping and newegg gave me $10 credit; i bought a 16 GB thumb drive. I wanted to also add that I have personally contacted Amazon about the dead pixel concern on monitors and they say they will take them back, but I've heard other interesting stories from around the web about Amazon's monitor returns.
Once you experience Newegg's customer support, you'll never go anywhere else. Sometimes I wonder if they'll put a $20 in my box if I special request it.
