Default Best way to clean up C?

For some reason my OS drive is at like 3.77 gb left of its 120 i don't install anything on it, my large files are on my hdd's or the other ssd. I've looked through the program folders nothing seems to be non windows related. Don't get why its so full it was basically half full the last time i checked maybe a few weeks ago.

Are your games stored there (STEAM)? Unused games should remove some space.

I recommend using treesize. It provides a very intuitive graphical view of the allocation of used space, and makes it easier to track down junk files. http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/?language=EN

PS, keep in mind that with an SSD, you do not need to keep any music or documents on the drive.
They can be relocated to a different drive, and the libraries can be edited to target the secondary drive, thus everything continues to work normally.

    For example,

A folder on the 2nd drive can be included.

Negative Wargaming is on a separate 500 SSD, along with steam itself.
Games I am dling for the long trip without Internet are on one of two 3 tb plates.

    Thanks,

Will download this, nothing should be on that drive but the os files. I move all the libraries to the hdd's at format. This will tell me what's there ? Does it help making SymLinks?

    http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/

Space sniffer.... Rusn as admin and then look at your C drive. Most likely issue is the page file being excessively large, downloads folder and recycle bin.

This is how my C drive looks:
    Spoiler

Real easy to find exactly what is taking up space.

so i've narrowed it down to something to do with MK X, but I don't find any results for this filling up a hard drive.

    A) Its not installed on that drive
    B) The files disappear upon restart
    C) Well not all of them 5gb of added files in the last day and nothing was installed.

weird that program bob, said my page file is 16gb, even though i have it manually set to 512mb

It can change itself. Also might be temporary programming files. For something like that use ccleaner and analyse first to see what it's removing. Watch out for it removing passwords.

    http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.php

smart defrag 4 exce;;ent peice of saftware that may help cleanup your hdd and defrag it

another idea nay be start button > all prgrams > accesories > system tools > disc cleanup

there might have been some updates or something installed that created a lot of temp/installation files
