War Thunder devs announce post-apocalyptic vehicle combat MMO

War Thunder developer Gaijin Entertainment has announced that they're co-making—alongside Targem Games—a new post-apocalyptic vehicle combat MMO. It's called Crossout, and it's about building, upgrading and customising spike-laden, armoured vehicles, and then using them to battle other players.

Crossout promises extreme customisation, with the ability to build anything from small buggies to heavy off-road trucks. "Crossout gives players thousands of possibilities to design their vehicle, including shape, armor, weapons, support systems and, of course, cosmetic enhancements," explains the press release.

There are weapons, of course. Chainsaws, power drills, machine guns, rocket launchers, flying drones and stealth generators are all mentioned.

Not mentioned: the long, bendy sticks they had in Mad Max: Fury Road. They were pretty useful.

Beta testing for Crossout is due to start in the summer.

So, since I have posted too many of the same type pf post to find people playing any particular game...... I am curious, is there a different practice, within the clan, to form groups? For example, should I just be looking up peoples Steam accts myself and sending friend requests?-or-Am I correct in waiting for someone else to show interest and letting them send me a request first??

Modded Minecraft, Modded ARK, Civilization, 7DaystoDie, Crossout, Elder Scrolls Online, Subsistence, Overwatch, The Isle, alpha/beta/early access games, closed lan multiplayer, games I haven't seen yet, etc etc

I mean, really as long as they are kept relevant. Seeing as this specific thread has been buried for 1 1/2 years, I'm guessing there is no longer much interest in the game. Looking at the quote, we do have a division established in Overwatch that is a great group to play with, just join their side of teamspeak and ask if there is room in any groups. I think...Master Butters is still running the AOD ESO stuff we have in game, and is playing that with several other members if I remember correctly. There was some interest in minecraft like a month or two ago but I think it died down, and the other ones I'm not sure about.

Other than that try to search for a similar thread before starting a new one, because I swear every week I see a recruit making a thread that is an exact copy of one that was created like 1 month previous to it. :P

Forming groups is usually just done on the forums though. If enough people get interested in a game then we can set up a TS room for a bit and see what activity looks like.

Thank you. As you understand, I am doing my best to avoid creating repetitive posts as well, which is why I asked. I am aware of all of the official divisions within the clan, and I do play within them often. I included the "official" games in my list specifically to include them as part of the options, not necessarily because there's no-one to play with already.

To be clear; my intention is to reach out to anyone that might, like myself, have times when just talking $#!! and playing something stupid is what you're looking for. Games that are too small for the clan, and big enough to be more fun when not alone. Maybe you play ARK with the clan, but you want to start over or try something that you can't do on the "official" servers, playing with mods for example. This is not my full-time thing. I'm not trying to start a new division. I'm not trying to pull anyone away from their clan game. I am just looking to add a few people to my friends list that like to experiment with new games, and want to take a break from the pressure of "THE CLAN" sometimes.

To be fair, I have posted responses on many posts for these types of games, but like this one they are old and forgotten. I figure that creating 1 post about multiple options was better then creating the same post over and over inside each individual section of the forum.
