    Default high ping and packet loss

    I got a wifi extender now I'm suffering from high ping and high packet loss that makes almost every game annoying any way to help fix this?

    My gut reaction is not likely as a wifi extender will encounter those issues reagrdless of what you do, I assume the base router is a good model etc? Have you considered alternatives to wifi? (not 100% sure they all work though as not tried some of them myself)

    You're better off using an internet over powerline adapter. Keep in mind, a wifi extender only extends a wifi signal that it receives. If it's only receiving a 40% strength, it will only repeat a maximum of 40%, even though it will show 100% when you connect to the extender. Understand?

ID:	16973I don't knwo how to fix that, that appeared when my internet went down when i was out for a training course for work, cmae back turned it on and off got that, the wifi extender at this point was set up just need to find a location, its a wifi booster, same company make as my wifi router, i do not know the problem.
