2. They us pay for online pay.
Whatever happen to free online play for consoles these days. I want to buy a PS4 but i don't want to pay that much money to play online. It makes me want to quit console gaming, and become a PC gamer.
Why can't it just be free?

Because servers can't maintain themselves, they cost money to do so. Xbox has been doing this for years now, where you gotta pay for some of the additional options including online play (if I recall), I guess Sony saw how lucrative it is and choose to jump on the wagon as well.
