Default Thought of you FireHose :)

Some of you mite not know this but our very own FireHose has one of the coolest hobbies ever. He flys giant scale RC war planes. I personally always had respect and passion for such a hobby. Here is a link of one of my favourite videos.

Sweet, I had a friend a long time ago that was into that and built his own RC planes. He was always trying to get me to try it and I regret that I never did. A lot of fun, but the learning curve is very steep. You don't start out with planes like in the video, those are for the seasoned pros LOL you start out with relatively cheap trainers because you will crash and unlike War Thunder you can't "respawn"

I literally LOVE this video. I LOVE doing my somewhat expensive hobby. Who am I kidding, there is NO somewhat about it. It IS expensive. If you ever want to see a grown man cry, watch him once his VERY expensive large scake WWII plane crashes and gets destroyed.LOL. Luckily it have NEVER happened to me and I hope it doesn't. If your not into the hobby or are nervous about actually flying large scale RC planes, there's always coming down to watch them fly. We have a lot of people do that and they enjoy a day out doing that.

If anypne here is SERIOULSY considering getting started in this hobby, allow me to give some helpful advice. And this may be advice that either a lot or everyone already knows. Do not and I stress, DO NOT go out and get yourlsef a large scale plane as your first plane. Thise planes, much like the ones I have, are VERY expensive and very expensive to fix if you can salvage it from a crash, which you will do the first few times your out.
The best planes I can suggest are the small trainors such as the cessna which are made form styrofoam. They are not that expensive and if you crash, which more than likely you will do either on take off or landing, they are very easily fixed. A little duct tape here, a little there, small small amounts of glue for that crack in the fuselage, and your good to go to give it another try. Don't get discouraged if you crash, it happens to the best of us. And there are RC groups out there always looking to meet a new face who are willing to help a newbie in the hobbie. I've taught a few new people how to fly teir little planes correctly.
