Guys: Please do not shoot at friendly contacts.

In a game where I get shot by a friendly, even when I'm in a heavy tank and they are shooting mg's, it's always an aggravation. Even if the game is just starting and there should not be any enemy in LOS to shoot, it means I cannot depend on fire at me being enemy fire. I have had a round where I noted I was getting near-missed from behind by tank main guns, but thought that was the same twit from the spawn, when in fact the enemy had come up behind me.

I played lately with another AOD member who talked in TS about nailing a gunner on a friendly plane though "he didn't mean to". I'm pretty sure that friendly pilot who lost the gunner did not have good feelings about our squadron from that event. Our side was weakened by 1 gunner from that stunt, and 1 gunner can cost 1 plane and 1 plane can easily cost a victory.

I know the start of a game round can be dull, but you can't "accidentally" shoot a friendly if you aren't shooting at them. Not shooting in the direction of friendly planes while spawning means that your magazines are full for when you are around targets you need to fire at.

I am still pretty close to a nobody in AOD. This is not an order. I would still very much appreciate it if those few of you who are inclined to spray fire around at the spawn would stop, or at least save that for rounds that I'm not with you.

Thanks for reading.
