Icon5 anyone have the G930 headset?

I just got the wireless G930 headset. I like it but the damn thing keeps cutting off every ten minutes. I can have sound running through and it still cuts off. I'm playing WarThunder and then off which sucks because I'll be in the middle of a fight which cause me to get shot down a couple of times last night taking my had to put it on or not hearing gun shots. Its getting really annoying. I've looked on line and see that numerous ppl have this issue but have not found a solution. Any ideas?

I have it, i have it ittemitenly, but not to often. Im assuming based of how bendable the wire is, is that its a stranded wire (as are most cords made for moving/bending). Stranded wire loves causing signal trouble (usually not an issue in small applications, but enough wires can cause an issue). Usually moving the receiver or decluttering the area a little has helped, other times just unplugging and re-plugging the receiver helps.

I have the wireless G930, and have had this problem, but it is so few and far in-between I can't really call it a problem. Only suggestion I have is to plug the wireless receiver into the charging base and make sure the base is in clear view of where you are playing.

Is there any type of metal between the receiver & sender? Is there a WiFi router near your receiver? Is your monitor/TV near the receiver? Is your cell phone turned on & within 6ft of your receiver? Do you sit too close to your receiver?

All of these things emit an electromagnetic field which has the ability to interfere with wireless.

It happens occasionally for me. Make sure that you use the Logi software! If you are too close to your Wifi that will mess with it too. Try going near your microwave while it is running and it will cut off.

Check out the new Artemis Spectrum headset from Logitech. I plan on buying the wired G633 instead of the wireless G933

Wireless sound is fine but you need to get a USB extender and move your wireless headset receiver away from any other receiver in the back of the PC, such as a mouse/keyboard/wifi. Also a lot of different headsets may have connection/frequency issues. Personally I use the Corsair Vengeance 2100 (2.4ghz) and it's been the best wireless headset ive owned, no connection issues or charge problems. Only downside is it has about a 10 foot reach before it starts dropping. Anything within that and its crystal clear for 8+ hours.

Wireless keyboards are also fine, I play a lot of competitive FPS/Action rpgs using a decent logitech wireless keyboard with no issues at all.

Wireless mice, they suck, I've spent over $200 on some models in the past and still never found one good enough for gaming. I only use these when I am forced to. On my couch I have a wireless keyboard and a USB extender for my wired mouse.

A common issue is hands free phones / wireless phones as some modern bases "ping" the handset periodically. This ping can distrubt wireless connections.

The G930 comes with a USB extender/charger. The headset has excellent range of like 30 obstructed feet. I recommend the Logitech Orion Spark as a keyboard, the Logitech Proteus Core as a mouse, and the Artemis spectrum (wired or wireless) as a headset

Just going to throw my copper in.
I've gone through 4 of these headsets. My first headset, the arm broke. Not quite sure how but the screw worked out and it eventually wore off. The last 2 stopped holding a charge. I'm still using the 4th right now.
Every now and then I have the issue with cut in/outs. First of all, it's wireless, but unfortunately was poorly designed and after about 50% battery life cuts in and out.
Secondly, if you use the battery a lot on these headsets and it ends up not holding a proper charge, it'll cut in and out all the time.

On the USB Dongle on the black puck, use a pin to press and hold the reset button.

Also, be sure you're not hooked up to a USB 3.0 port as it can cause interference (logitech)

After resetting if you still have an issue, turn your headset off for thirty minutes while it charges.
The 2 charge issue headsets ended up burning more battery than they were charging in (which seems to make no sense but they'd register as charging and die after about an hour of use and need to be left to recharge even though they were hooked up via the cord).

You have had a n unfortunate experience, I am still on my first set, I do keep mine plugged in most of the time though. I would say try the G933 (Wireless) or the G633 (Wired). I have heard they are a crazy huge improvement.

I had the same issue when I upgraded to Windows 10. I found this fix and haven't had any issues since.

I love the clarity to price point for these headsets. I pretty much exclusively use Logitech products.
