I got a press copy of the game to review early.
I've played through twice now.
I'm on my 3rd toon.
This one is luck/charisma only.
I've minimized everything else.

I'm relying purely on my companions.

Steams showing 100 hours played on it so far and I still love every second of it.

I STRONGLY recommend getting the No Object limit mod for your settlements. It makes life so much more fun.
Build a huge fort and almost no defenses. 2-4 turrets. It'll get raided a lot on higher difficulty and be fun to defend if you make true walls!

If I had four thumbs, they'd all be up right now. I only ever play on the hardest settings, cause I got a pair, and ya, this uh, this is tops! A MUST HAVE ON SURVIVAL MODE IMO!

I was extremely excited for this title and sadly it has let me down.
Not the game itself; the game is amazing. It's how my PC handles the game that's the issue.

My specs are fine, I should be able to run the game on Ultra, no problem.
But I'm having a plethora of other issues - from getting stuck in infinite loading screens, to the game switching monitors on me from time to time, to my save files going corrupt or not saving at all. I won't realize this most of the time until I die and attempt to load an autosave, only to see that it is corrupt and I am forced to go back until I can load a save that actually works, usually at the expense of two-hours of game time lost.

If anyone is having similar issues I'd love to hear about them. Or any possible fixes you may know of.

Edit: Thanks to some guys (red7, tboose) who volunteered their time to help me with my issues. Sadly these issues are still unresolved.

When SDK hits, I am planning on a full Attack on Titan quest line where there will be : Unlimited Building in settlements and Quests involving holding off against Super Mutant Giants! I am going to have upgraded turrets etc, let me know any suggestions on what you would want to see modded for this kind of mod! I will take all recommendations under consideration, and if anyone wants to help me, let me know! I was thinking of some kind of grappling hooks as well using the harpoon models they already have, but smaller, and attached as armor! Things of this nature.......
