    Default Basic specs

I like playing Planetside 2, Ark, and Space Engineers. What kind of computer specifications do I need to run 30 to 60 frames, medium/high level graphics and avoid crashing.
Also run things like photshop, autocad, scipting/coding (not that immportant), and file sharing/downloading.

Hmm... Well, with Planetside 2 being one game you play you will most certainly want an Nvidia GPU.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mdNQTW That would get you started. With the motherboard I picked you can upgrade later to an Overclockable i5 or i7 and get a CM 212 Hyper Evo cooler to get a few more years out of the setup. I ran Planetside 2 on High at around 90 FPS even in large battles.

If you are willing to spend a bit more $$$, then http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ksbXTW Is essentially my build, just with a different case. I love my new build to death, and it runs everything as smooth as butter.

Pretty much what is said above apart from the CPU on the second build, the i5-4690K performs better, OC-s more stable and is cheaper than the i5-6600k. (about $25 cheaper and only around 2-3% faster in benchmarks) not sure why the is such a variance in OC stability between similar i5 chips though (beyond the obvious)

The best reason to get a 6th gen Skylake processor is the DDR4 compatibility. You can't run DDR4 with a 4690K.

I'd suggest an FX 6300 for the CPU, A 750TI for the GPU, 8GB of 1333mhz DDR3 ram, With a standard ATX cooler master case and ASUS Mobo, I'd also suggest a 60hz IPS monitor if you've got the cash,

DO NOT buy an i7, Get an i5 4460 :)

You could also get a 390x (Cheaper than a 980 and 970 in some cases with similar performance (Plus you can crossfire any two card types unlike Nvidia cards) But for the budget for high end gaming, You can't go wrong with an fx 6300 and 750ti

by "number specs", do you mean cost? And by "no build", do you mean you want something prebuilt? Might want to clarify just a bit so we can best help you :D

Don't go prebuilt. It's more expensive than building it yourself. And, you don't end up with any bloatware on your PC. And, it's like building a Lego house, just follow the instructions!

Problem with the 390 is that it doesn't have PhysX drivers, which Planetside 2 does still use PhysX in it's underlying code, so you will have a decent performance loss in PS2 if you go AMD.
