Default R9 380 Graphics Card Questions

Hey everyone, I am having some problems with my XFX Radeon R9 380 2g graphics card. It only happens when I play Far Cry 4 and yes I do know that it is extremely taxing on a graphics card. It usually happens when it gets around the 66 Celsius temp. What it does is say "the driver has failed, rebooted and sent a report." but the game doesn't crash so I know it isn't the game and I know for sure the card isn't overheating. I have overclocked the fans on the card to increase depending on the temp of the card and I have opened the case completely to make sure it has sufficient airflow but to no avail. The driver is still crashing. I have gone and done updates, backtracked on older updates and I am just completely lost of what to do now.

I can't send the card back if it is a lemon but I doubt it is since it only happens with Far Cry 4. If you know of anything that could cause it I would love to hear about it. Just stuck in the mud and can't play the game anymore. Thanks everyone!!!

Is it possible the error/warning is saying you've used up too much vram? and then releases it, cools down until it peaks again?

Otherwise, I'd say try playing the game at a lower res/ windowed ... watch a GPU chart that lists all the details, see if you notice anything

I have the game set on lowest of lowest settings but before i played this game I could get the card up to 70 celcius and not have a problem. I don't think it is the vram as no one else on forums have been complaining about it. I am thinking it is an update they released. Not entirely sure but thats what alot of people are pointing out. Thanks for the reply though.

    Maybe this will help you.

Meanwhile, he suggested users of the R7 and R9 300 series (and the Fury X) to download and use Catalyst 15.5 drivers.

That gives me a little hope that they are going to fix it but I did try that multiple times and with no success. And they are talking about 15.5 catalyst drivers in the link you sent me but clicking on their link to download the drivers, it comes up with 15.11 catalyst drivers. Not sure what thats all about but I will give it another shot soon and see if it works. Thanks Creelo and Zeus for the replies.
