Default Favorite films/films you would recommend?

My list of favorite films go on and on but here are some that I can think of right now. I am generally into thrillers, specifically crime and psychological but my taste is not limited to those genres.

    Memento
    The Silence of the Lamb
    Pulp Fiction
    Requiem for a Dream
    Donnie Darko
    The Usual Suspects
    The Game
    The Prestige
    The Shawshank Redemption
    American History X
    Full Metal Jacket
    Letters From Iwo Jima
    Reservoir Dogs
    City of God
    Schindler's List
    American Beauty
    Léon: The Professional
    LA Confidential
    Heat
    Taxi Driver
    And of course Star Wars

That's all I can thing of as of now, I plan on seeing Se7en next since I fell asleep halfway through.

One of my favorite roles/actors of all time in American Beauty

I really liked The Game, kinda stupid of me but I totally didn't see the ending coming.
I've seen Fight Club and I like Edward Norton but I think I was really young when I saw it and didn't really understand it... I'll watch it again sometime.

The image is small but the movie is probably the best I have ever seen.

    Literally 10/10.

    Markyle's List

    1. Star Wars 4,5,6,7
    2. Lord of the Rings 1,2,3
    3. Interstellar
    4. Indiana Jones 1,2,3
    5. Sound of Music (get on my level)

I'd like to throw in that I'm a very big fan of most cinema, so this list could be expanded a few pages if I wanted but I'll keep it to 5 for now.

    Recommend

    • The Edge
    • The Game
    • The Man From Nowhere
    • Nightcrawler
    • Interstellar [Can't say enough about this film]
    • The Way Back

Oh man, for someone studying filmmaking my list is probably pretty average.

I'm with Markyle on being able to go on and on ;)

    Top 5 (no order):
    -Interstellar
    -Drive
    -TRON: Legacy
    -The Grand Budapest Hotel
    -Children of Men

I will probably add to this post when I'm not so tired.
