    Default Falling frame rates

I'm running a i5 3570k at 4.2 gHz and a titan. I have a 144hz monitor, and my fps keeps falling down to like the teens. If anybody knows why this is happening, I'd love the help. Also running windows 7, if that helps.

Brick, do you have BF4 running on a platter HDD or on an SSD? I've seen issues in machines where the drive getting thrashed will cause the entire system to chug. Run your Windows perfmon (here's how) and see if you're getting very high disk activity.

You may need to repair/reinstall BF4, sounds like you're getting a memory leak. You can also run Passmark to test SSD and memory performance. You can also run Furmark to do a video stress test and see if the temp rises enough to cause it to throttle.

I run a 3770 at 4.0 and a 970 Windforce 3 on ultra and get consistently around 100 fps no matter what, my system is constantly about as optimized as it can get. Been doing this for a long time. Also, I diagnose and repair system hardware for a living.

Thanks for all the help. I will try reinstalling BF4.
