All the years to come I want you to remember the one man who beat you.
144hz Monitor or Curved Monitor
Hey guys, I'm thinking on buying a new monitor for "gaming" and design.
I usually don't care if the monitor is 60 hz but a lot of people told me that 144hz really worth it, and I'm thinking to buy one of those:

If you've had any problem with one of those, let me know.

I've never used a curved monitor before but not sure Id like one for FPS games. I switched from 60hz to 144hz last year and absolutely love it. Definitely much smoother if you can push your games to 144fps. This is the one I own: http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2411z

I own a 120hz monitor and I can never go back to 60hz.
Before you upgrade the monitor though, make sure your games can make use of it. A 144hz monitor won't be worth it if you can only run games at 40fps, for example. I think the picture will look slightly better, but it wouldn't be worth it overall to me.
Also, not a fan of curved monitors or tvs.

Get the 144hz monitor, I feel like a curved monitor is just a fad in my opinion.

Between the two you listed, the 144hz one is better quality. Curve at 27" doesn't matter.

Defo 144Hz. It might be worth getting a G sync / Free sync display also, though you cant use ULMB if you have it on. If your Gpu is powerful enough to lock all your games at 144fps minimum then forget about G sync or Free sync. I've heard they are less useful at 60hz+ monitors but i'm not too sure... maybe someone else knows.
