Default ups.. dont kick your mouse cord.

well my mouse cord is plug in at the front of my pc or it was. here is a good tip for y all, dont fall over your mouse cord ripping the usb port appart, resulting in sparks and the pc shutting down. must be the cold beers. embarrassing -___-

Seeing sparks is both impressive and depressing at the same time. As long as the machine's still booting, all's well, I guess.

Make sure the contacts in the USB port are not touching. I once had a case I salvaged from a co-worker when his computer "died". Come to find out the USB port on the right side of the bezel had loose/damaged contacts and were touching which kept the system from booting. Unplugged that cable from the motherboard and everything was fine.

I suggest that you go and grab yourself a wireless mouse instead.. :D

e.g. Razer Mamba <-- fully satisfactory
