Default Best headset for under $50?

Hey friends, my Logitech G230s are on their way out and I'm in the market for a new headset. What gaming headsets should I look at that are under $50? Or should I just buy another pair of G230s? They've lasted me 3 years but I'm willing to look elsewhere.

Being a budget gamer I got the Creative Fatal1tys. Though i rarely wear them as headphones, it was just for the mic

I used the Creative Fatality for years. I love that headset. the cuffs are so comfortable on it. Right now I use a Steelseries Siberia v2 I got at wal-mart for 30 dollars on clearance. I like it.
but yes for budget level and comfort I would definately recommend the creative fatality. you can get it on amazon prime for 22 bucks. I used mine for about 7 years

I'd recommend Gamecom 788's. Although, I'm from Britain and no idea how much they are in dollars, sorry.

They're comfortable and can game for hours with them. Mic is good too and just plug and play which is even better.

I reccomend the Patriot Viper V360. My dad has one and it's pretty comfortable and has 7.1 "Surround Sound" which is almost imperitive for a game like Battlefield.

I'm the dad KaosC57 referred to. I do like the Viper V360 headset, configuration to activate the virtual 7.1 seemed a little confusing to me at first but it seems to work well enough in The Division. I would recommend them.

I had the Turtle Beach X12 headset for the longest time before I moved over to my current kit. They're super comfy, sound good, and the mic was pretty decent, too. Yeah, they're advertised as 360 headphones, but they're actually separate 3.5mm cables for the audio and mic with a 360 adapter thrown in. They're USB-powered, which wasn't a deal-killer in my case, but they do have an inline volume/bass/mic mute control, which I really liked.

    I'd recommend the Logitech G430.
A friend of mine bought it after he wore my G930 (which is the same except for the wireless and G-hotkey features).
Quality and 7.1 surround sound are awesome!
You can get it between 50-60 bucks on sale, just look it up on the internet! :)
