Default upgraded to windows 10 now 100% constant disk usage

Hi guys. I tried to upgrade to win 8.1 and there was about 30 seconds - 1 minute response time between when i press the mouse and when the computer replies. The disk usage seems to be stuck at 100%.

So I reformatted and tried windows 10. same thing. to save typing it is the exact same thing that is happening in this thread.
My harddrive is a kingston v300 120gb SSD.

Fixed it. Windows native AHCI/SATA driver didn't like my Kingston SSD. the gigabyte mobo didn't have SATA drivers for windows 10, so i grabbed them off the AMD site and installed from there. seems to be running smooth now.
