I used to play but stopped renewing like a year ago to focus on school.

I heard a few things about world war bee, but not much. What's going on with it? :P

PL and friends dunked the Imperium, which was the largest coalition in game history.

Brief summary:

Imperium forces lead by GoonSwarm tried to bully some pirate focused small groups and take their moons. The small pirate groups which typically fight each other teamed up and formed a Non-Aggression Pact.

The Imperium leadership didn't like this and made a big show about how they were going to mop the floor with them on reddit, but lost a major tactically important battle (got caught with their pants down)

Losing the battle showed cracks in the imperium, which had been ruling player owned space in eve for the last 3 years. Hostile alliances to the imperium smelled the blood in the water and formed a counter coalition. Imperium lost battle after battle as World War Bee became a thing.

GoonSwarm lost ALL of their soverignty, over 60+ solar systems. The Imperium is all but defeated.

The coalition that formed to defeat the imperium has reset each other's standings and begun fighting.

Long story short eve is fun again and no longer stagnant space ruled by one massive 30,000 member power bloc.

The one thing that i love the most, Since goons came into existence, They have lost ALL their sov what, 5 times? All assets lost even more, Unless they have RL mishaps the tyrants will be back lol

Haha yeah they always come back, which is fine for me. I'm in Reikoku, an ex BOB corp that's now in pandemic legion. Goons always have a murder boner for trying to kill us.. hasn't been working out very well for them lately

Used to be, Name in Eve was BlackKnight. I was in the game way back in the beginning when the release was called Castor. Spent over 10 years in Eve.
