Nice! I got it's big brother a few weeks ago. Also upgraded from a 970. After years of 70's I finally went for the top.
Why's it for sale? And not really allowed here.
You already posted this two days prior to this thread. Really trying to get that thing sold, huh?
Look what came in the mail... ;)
So pristine, until it gets tarnished with dust after using it. If only they stayed young *sigh*
I want one so bad, but I have two 970s so upgrading them both will be a bit pricey... Oh the down falls of SLI
2k is actually 1080p
Native resolution is 2048 × 1080, which is DCI but FHD, which is standard resolution for monitors and TVs is 1920x1080p.
4k is actually 2160p
Native resolution is 4096 × 2160, which is DCI but UHD, which is standard resolution for monitors and TVs is 3840 × 2160p.
2k is everything below 4096 x 2160 "Cinema 4K" and 3840 x 2160 "UHD 4k". Everything else below those resolutions is considered 2k and not 1080P FHD.
Gonna stick with my 970 until the 1180 to get a real upgrade for my system :) I'm running on a 1080p 144hz monitor anyway so I can play game without any sort of framerate issue
Newbie question on the GTX 1070. I noticed the recommended system power is 500W, that is the power source for your entire computer right? Not separate power you need to account for correct? My power source is 800W and am still looking for a new card, not sure what I am getting next.
