    Default My new 1070!!

    So far I gotta say I love this thing. So much more faster than my old EVGA 970 SSC on my 2k monitor! (Its for sale, PM me :) )

    Nice! I got it's big brother a few weeks ago. Also upgraded from a 970. After years of 70's I finally went for the top.


    Why's it for sale? And not really allowed here.

    2k is actually 1080p
    Native resolution is 2048 × 1080, which is DCI but FHD, which is standard resolution for monitors and TVs is 1920x1080p.

    4k is actually 2160p
    Native resolution is 4096 × 2160, which is DCI but UHD, which is standard resolution for monitors and TVs is 3840 × 2160p.

    2k is everything below 4096 x 2160 "Cinema 4K" and 3840 x 2160 "UHD 4k". Everything else below those resolutions is considered 2k and not 1080P FHD.

    Gonna stick with my 970 until the 1180 to get a real upgrade for my system :) I'm running on a 1080p 144hz monitor anyway so I can play game without any sort of framerate issue
