It's easier to gain access to someone's PC than it is their mobile.

Most Steam users have their username/password autosaved on the client so that they auto login when the client is launched.

So pretty much if you lose access to your PC, your Steam account is done and so is the theorised app authenticator.

I'm not trying to argue with you here, I'm just saying it would be easier to do what you're trying to do by investing in a cheap ass Android phone (literally the cheapest) and a SIM card.

I believe the 15 day wait is also to protect buyers from anything dodgy going on, sure it's less hassle to just set up the app authenticator the old fashioned way? Once it's set up you'll be set? Unless you're literally creating new accounts all the time to buy and sell with? Then, that's sort of the point why the 15 day hold exists..

Nope, just one account, but I have been getting those cards from games and having to wait 15 days to put them up for sale, or even a 15 wait on trading with someone...
