    Omg Olympic Fencing (USA)!

Any of you guys watch Olympic Fencing (or fence yourselves)?

Daryl Homer (USA Individual Men's Sabre) just made it to semis (by beating two Germans in awesome bouts (Max Hartung and Matyas Szabo)).
    I'm a little too excited!

Next bout is streaming at 4 30pm EST on NBC if you want to watch.
It'll be Daryl Homer (USA) vs Mojtaba Abedini (IRI)

    Cheers,

    Atman

At least he won the silver medal for USA. That's the best a American fencer has ever done in the Olympics

Except Mariel Zagunis (most decorated American fencer ever). 2x Gold in Women's Individual Sabre (Athen 2004, Beijing 2008) and Sada Jacobson (Silver Beijing 2008, Bronze Athens 2004 both in Individual Women's Sabre). Also, Alexander Massialas (Silver in Rio 2016 Individual Men's Foil).

Also others back in the early 1900's area. But yea, We haven't been dominant in fencing, and this Olympics goes to show it. Hopefully we can medal in teams though!
