So some people liked my looking into gif sig making found here:

So I'm gonna make one for Venareus.


Start with source:


I kinda want to use the whole vid as it's awesome... Download it as mp4. Use vegas to trim the fat, add the fades and convert to 720p from 1080p.

Now I need it to gif: https://cloudconvert.com/mp4-to-gif

And the result is this 500mb monster:

I hate to be the party crasher, but I have to point out that the image is just over 82 megs. Animated gifs are cool and all, but it's really a good idea if you try and optimize them, especially for those who are browsing the forums on a mobile device and don't use tapatalk (like me). For folks that don't have 4g (some countries still use 2g which is between 0.1 and 0.3 mbits/sec), it makes browsing the forums nearly impossible unless you completely disable images.

So uh... try and keep them small?

Reduced the resolution a step, took it from 80mb to 50mb.
