Would anyone here want to attempt to create an AOD art worm?

For those that have never heard of it, the idea is quite simple. It only requires that the participants follow a few rules, and provide some basic understandings about how it needs to work.

The "worm" itself is a series of images that are visually connected from one image to the next, either horizontally or vertically (but not both). So long as each image respects the dimensions of the previous image (usually by, at a minimum, all being the same height), and offers some clear and obvious way to "continue" the worm, the results can be quite interesting.

I thought it might be cool to see if we could somehow create a long chain of gaming screenshots, but that might be tough...

Anyway, if there's enough interest, we could try and organize this. Let me know who wants to give it a shot, for experimentation's sake.

It can be as long as we want to make it. There's nothing that says people can't submit multiple "pieces", but it sort of gets boring if the same people (or person) submit multiple iterations. The idea here is to introduce different styles and mix things up.

Cool. We can come up with an order for entries to come in, and get started. Rambo had an idea for the inital image, but I think he should a little bit to make it more interesting. :)

Let's go with 500x500. Arbitrary, but a smaller canvas should be easier to work with ;)


For those that haven't done this before, the goal is to provide a seamless transition from piece to piece, all while being creative and mildly original. But if you don't put in an honest effort, it won't turn into anything interesting.


Rambo, if you'll post the first image, I'll do the second, and Kirsch, Tigrium, and Markyle can follow in that order.

It's okay. We'll just keep going with this one.

For future entries, please follow these rules:

- must be separate entry (cannot be a combined image of the previous image)
- must attempt to make a seamless transition. (this also means consider your entry - does it leave a difficult transition for the next person?)
- stick to the resolution!


To help control who goes when, I'll put up a static page somewhere that will let us see whose turn it is, and also see the images side by side as they are submitted.

Future submissions - hold off until I get this organized. :P
