    Default Getting a new monitor!

Hey guys. Me and my father will be switching computers this week. The one I've been mainly playing Planetside 2 on will be coming upstairs to my room while my box that is not gaming compatible anymore due to non stop game freezes and crashes, even on old games such as GTA: San Andreas will be going downstairs to serve our purpose as an entertainment/movie watching machine. So to prepare for the trade, got a new Ikea table all set up and all that I will need is a monitor that will take the place of my 32" Samsung LED TV which is way too big for it to be used as a desk monitor. I love the frameless designs, but I would ideally like for it to be gaming compatible. After not much luck, I went to Acer's website and found this:

It has everything I want and its right at my price point!! 😍 However, I ran into a dead end. When I clicked on the buy now button to see who has it, I only saw B&H as carrying it. Out of curiousity, I went there and... Well whattaya know! The photo shows a different monitor from the one I expected it to be and it appears that its a new item that's coming. Idk if or when it will come out. Any info on it? Also, what are alternatives I can go for? Thanks guys!

I found the monitor here on Newegg for $175. That is VERY good looking monitor as far as the body of it goes. I cannot believe you found a monitor at that price point that is capable of 144hz AND 1ms response time. Certainly do get this display.

But there is one issue, this monitor seems to be only on Canadian websites.

I found something you might like. It is a 24 inch Asus monitor with 74hz, 1ms, response time, and 1080p. It also appears to be fairly new.
