Honestly great job everyone, all the teams put some incredible work into the race. Neo did the race solo because he is crazy doing 355 laps by himself. (While knowing you get disqualified if you do it solo..)

Good job boys! it was an honour racing with the merc Team!
And congratz to the DP's ofc!

I have to admit that this was the most fun and thrilling racing event I've ever done.
I was very nervous at the beginning because I've never done any GT3 race in iRacing. So basically this was my very first race in this class. Nevertheless, I manned up and did my first stint, which actually went pretty well getting our car from P27 to P22. The second stint I already felt more comfortable and did some crazy battles - sorry Gorilla for keeping you stressed out there, you probably were biting your nails with those close calls I had :-)

Overall, the team did well getting back from P39 to P12 in those remaining 11 hours after we had a bad luck on start where some guy hit Gorilla in the right side damaging suspension. Thus, Gorilla was forced to pit in to fix that damage.

I'd like to thank my team for an outstanding effort getting us back on pace and gaining those positions back.
Gorilla - outstanding spotting and great job on those 5 stints you did.
BelgiumWolf - good job on holding the pace and gaining some positions back.
WaveSeeker - awesome racing mate, you nailed it and your lap times were very consistent and fast.

To cover our story a little bit. (Team Audi)

After the start some Iberia guy dove on the inside of me on turn 2, we clipped and I spun out.
Couldn't get control back while sliding back into traffic and got hit again by the same guy right on the rear wheel, he didn't even brake.
Ended up in the pack getting hit a few more times. Tow back to pits (3 min) , 15 min repair + optional which meant we were 9 laps down.

Fought our way back from last position to 18th, then at 50 mins from the end a moment of fatigue caused us to miss pit entry meaning
we had to get a tow around because we would run out of fuel in that lap. Tried to reverse into the pit lane but was too dangerous.

And on that bombshell we decided to call it, we had proven our pace and without that crash at the start we had probably been fighting for the podium.

The guy that crashed us out disappeared after 1 stint...250 laps later a teammate of his came back to drive some more causing a few more accidents.

To wrap up the mercees team's race, well where to start, I know...I wish to thank my boys in my team, you guys were super, all of you, even if we had a few close calls at times really and Mystic, that setup you handed us friday evening, it was awesome, so now then to the race itself.

WE had put in a Q time of 2:02.5 on a different buiold of the game, the time placed us sixth on the grid, start went alright, dropped down a few palces to the harpin where we had an Audi cutting across our front and spun himself out, first stint was really a tussle for track possistions as it progressed we dropped back to around 9th to 11th before getting rammed in the right side as Zed said, causing the sterring and suspenstion to get a bit dented, part from that we had minor incidents with other cars but nothign we could come back from. I handed over the car to our next driver, think it was either BelgianWolf or Zed, cant remember now at the moment, think it was Zed actually, he took the car and drove it really well, had a few close calls with people being in the way, as we had an issue with traffic, how to get by cars thats a lap or two ahead of us but being slower, easy job for Zed who kept the hammer down and drove like a god on his first ever endurance race stint, he handed over the car to BelgianWolf who also drove like a mad man in the traffic and crushed everyone that was infront of him, a realyl good stint from him meant we could get me back into the car for another stint where I drove and kept up our good pace, catching up on the field and places, then handed the car to wavseeker who also drove it like a beast, think it was Zed who took over the car again after wavseeker and from this åpoint and on we just kept that right foot planted on the accelerator pedal, whats brakes for I mean? Anyway, we kept our pace up for the rest of the race wit hwavseeker,zed and belgianwolf putting up good stint each, coming in for the final stint Zed wrere running 14th or 15th and we had chance on 11th, I took over and began the chase, had a good battle with p12 over the spot over several mad laps were we ran side by side, over and under each other before I passed him, thus taking 12th but a moment of blurr saw me going off in the hairpin and he grabbed the place back but with a redhot Gorilla on his rear I fought the way back and within half a lap I'd nicked his place again and this time it was not to be given up, at this point, 15 min left of the race p11 45 secs away, urged on by the boys I drove and pushed the car to its breaking limts but it was not to be, crossing hte line after 333 laps we secured 12th place, just 6 laps down in total.

Again Im throwing a shout out to the merc team and Mystic, we did it boys, we showed our pace in the race and would it not have been for the tussles we had early in the race we would have been top 10 maybe even top 5, onwards towards the Green Hell in a month, lets show em
