I’ve been following the progress on the construction of the RMS Titanic II here lately, and a lot of news sources say that its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York will take place in 2022, 110 years after the originals. There will be First, Second, and Third Class tickets available for purchase. I’m gonna go ahead and say this, if it hits a fucking iceberg at the exact same time in the exact same place and sinks in the exact same place as the original RMS Titanic, that will be some serious deja’vu. Except this time, everything is modernized (well there’s better lifeboats and enough for everybody on board). Every little detail has been taken from the original, and even the food on the menus will be the exact same that was served on the originals maiden voyage on April 10, 1912.
I’d also like to view your guys’ input on this, and what do y’all think is going to happen when it’s time to set sail? I personally think that it’s going to go according to plan this time around.
