    Default Need help

My WT game server keeps disconnecting. I noticed my Ping was at 999 when it happens. Is this causing the disconnection? If so what can I do to stop it from happening? Can I control the Ping?

The ping just tells you the delay time between your computer and them, if it spikes up it's telling you there is an issue with the connection between the two. I would guess the problem is on your end of the connection, but do you have ever have lag issues in other online games, or does your internet work at all when it does happen?

I don't play any other online games but I have Lag issues all the time when in WT game and my Fms fall below 32. As far as I can tell my internet is working when it happens but I can't be sure. I don't have high speed internet. I can only get internet through an AT&T Hot Spot and the signal is usually low. 3 mbs on average.

There are times when I can't connect to internet at all because of low signal strength. Could this be causing all my problems?

yeah that would be why, every time your connection gets worse or drops out it will mean at the very least serious lag in your game. If your connection drops randomly that explains why you're getting disconnected

Thank you very much AOD_Beavery1 for your replies. At least I now know who (AT&T) to blame. Now all I need is a fix.

    Once more I thank you.

    See you in Battle!

Moved hotspot to better location. Has not completely stopped disconnection but has greatly reduced # of disconnections.

I recommend you get your self an other wireless router and turn it into a wifi bridge. that way you can put a second wireless router next too you and it will piggyback the first routers signal and boost it's signal with the second wireless router.

You can buy antennas for your phone that amplify the signal. I use it with my RV/Motorhome when i go out for long family rides.
