Sending an image through your inbox

So I'm looking to send someone an image through the AOD inbox and when I click insert images it only gives me the option of URL, I am not very tech savvy when it comes to that sort of stuff and images, was wondering how I could some photos into url or bypass that and get the image into the message another way?

Use Imgur - upload the image and click "get share links" chose the BB code option and paste t into the message :)
