    Default Looking to buy monitor

Hey all, I'm new to shopping for monitors. I'm looking to get a wide screen, 30" (atleast), with a minimum of 1080p 120 hertz. If you guys have any suggestions in mind I would greatly appreciate it.

Good list and those are really expensive. Check out the reviews, especially of Acer Predator Z35.

Hey are you sure you want a 30" monitor@1080p? Even at 1440 I don't go bigger than 27". At 1080p I think 24" would be optimal, unless dpi doesn't bother you so much.

chloroform i would stick with a 2k resolution if you're in the 100-144 hz range. You're gonna need a super expensive gpu setup to run anything more. I have 2 980 Ti's overclocked to lava hot and can barely keep above 120 in BF1 with a 2k monitor...

I just got a Acer GN246HL Bbid 24-Inch 144hz. 4K monitors are still way to much money. It was pretty cheap and i love it so far. It might be worth checking out [https://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL-...monitor+144hz]

Do you use a DVI cable or an HDMI cable with this? Want to be sure before I order it!

Im using the DVI cable. There's a HDMI port [cable not included] but i haven't really researched or experimented with using HDMI over DVI. They also include a VGA cable. There's no driver or any set up required so its plug and play!
