I would go at least 1070 or 1080. Other than that, looks like a good build.

Spend a bit extra and get the Samsung 960 EVO 500GB instead of the 850. http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare.../m200373vs2977
What about the new amd Vega graphics? 4k gaming for $399 from RX Vega 56. https://www.pcgamesn.com/amd/amd-veg...specifications

I saw some reviews about the vega. they seem very power hungry.
You could go with 2666 Mhz memory modules instead of 3000. It's pointless because beyond 2666 Ryzen does not benefit in performance and in most cases won't even run on some boards. Linus or some other tech channel had somewhere a nice video comparing all frequencies for RAM and it turned out that 2666 is the most efficient for Ryzen CPU and is even faster than 3000 for some reason.
and pay $70 more. 850 EVO performance is just fine and for gaming there will be no difference between 960 EVO and 850 EVO as SSD does not improve FPS. All it does makes the system run smoother and with regular SATA SSD it's more than enough to get that smoothness.
Amazon.com prices:
850 EVO for $174
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-I...ywords=850+evo
960 EVO regular price $249...currently on sale for $234
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-960-E...ywords=960+evo
yeah, except that it's on par with GTX 1070 and Vega MSRP on release was only for launch day:

If you cut down on excessive prices (less looks, more performance) you could get more money saved up for a better GPU.
Got it built and running.... amazed at how much better everything looks! Thanks for all the advice.
