    Default H1Z1 - Just Survive.

OK I know what you are thinking "Another H1Z1 thread???"

The last one is locked so I could not post in there....

H1Z1 just had a huge update, so massive they shortened the name to "Just Survive."
Full list of changes can be found here

I know that there are quite a few people in AOD who still play, so to prevent even more H1Z1 threads from popping up I have made an H1Z1 group for all of Z1 players out there.

    It can be found here

I have also made a steam group to which you can join and invite your friends to join (If AOD gets an H1Z1 division this steam group will be disbanded and all members will be encouraged to join AOD)
This steam group can also be a test run for any future hope of the clan having a division in H1Z1, after all if the group gets big enough then there is clearly enough people playing the game for an AOD division.
It should also be noted that since this is not a real AOD division you will still need to make sure you are active in your current division.

And finally to the higher ups of the clan I hope that this does not step on anyone's toes, if it does I can delete all of it.

Hope to see you out there soon!

If you enjoy it, then have fun with it, however I don't think I'll pick the game back up for a couple reasons:

    1. Mostly Negative reviews on Steam's recent reviews (so, post update). A lot of complaints about the cash system being just a shitty cash grab.

    2. It's still in Early Access. The game's been "out" for 2 1/2 years and it's still Early Access? I know games take a long time to develop, but I cannot stand the overuse of the Early Access tag. (Tangent incoming) I keep seeing all sorts of games on Steam using the Early Access tag as nothing more than a "we made a quick (potentially fun concept) game up, didn't test it, or fix any bugs, and we just didn't work too hard on it, but please give us your money and we'll maybe fix it (but probably not) in the future"

The game had potential once upon a time, I really enjoyed it back in the day. Unfortunately from what I've seen, the game just isn't good anymore. After SOE sold the rights to DayBreak, it just seems like the game faltered. More and more attention was placed on the King of the Kill mode, and then they eventually cut ties to the main game by splitting them up. Now they're renaming the game? I can't imagine why they would want to do that besides the pessimistic side of me thinking they just want to try to scam potential new buyers into getting the game. Though unlike games like DayZ Standalone and WarZ/ISS, H1Z1 didn't really have a bad reputation that I saw.

As I said though, if you enjoy it, then I truly do wish you the best with the game. These are just my thoughts.

    Hello Sam :)

While Marvin & I ran the Division for a long time after you left, the game went the way of WarZ: it became overran with hackers.

We retreated to the sanctuary of a private server with "vetted" clans to fight against, which was fun for a while and brought new life to the division. However, eventually the division died a slow death. Recruitment was difficult due to the private server's vetting process, burnout of the game itself, constant updates wiping out our base building progress, and a few clan members went rouge and betrayed the team.

I do miss the early days of the game however... when AOD roamed the streets in packs, fully armed to the teeth. Before the dark times... before the Empir... oh wait, wrong topic. But in all seriousness, we had a good run, but the game's player base was a shadow of its former self by the time we closed the division.

Hey Sam, I tossed myself into the steam group. Feel free to add me, i'm willing to hop back ingame and see what is it all about with some fellow clanmates. I can't say I hold out much hope, but H1z1 is what brought me to AOD, so i'll always have a soft spot to take alook again.
