Default Properly Configuring NVIDIA Surround PhsX

    Hi folks,
I have a EVGA NVIDIA 1070 and recently added a 3rd monitor to my setup. My intent is that while playing Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen that I can see the one program / display on all three screens.

The challenge is that one screen is smaller and square, an older LG model. The other two are newer and rectangular LG models. I get into the NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Configure Surround, PhysX. Once there, I select Span displays with Surround. Then I select Auto Select for the Processor and click the Configure button under Surround configuration. That results in me getting a screen where i can move two linked numbers up and down, but I don't quite get the look I am going for. Has anyone else encountered this? Any protips?

    Thanks!

You probably will not get proper Nvidia Surround with combining a 4:3 Display and 2 16:9 Displays. So, looks like you need to replace your first monitor with a 16:9 Ratio.

Ok. Someone else I spoke to outside of AOD said it's doable just more difficult. The third square monitor was free so I guess I can keep TS on that and use surround with the two monitors.

Double Monitor Surround is gonna look bad. You will have the 2 bezels of the monitors in the middle of your crosshairs.

Surround is best uses with 3 monitors of equal size and resolution.

When using dislike monitors in nVIDIA Surround, it's always going to reduce the capabilities of what you will be able to output.

Example: I have three displays. One 34" 1440p 100Hz Ultrawide in the middle and then two 27" 1440p 144Hz on each side (all three Asus). GPU is a GTX 1080 Ti. Surround gaming with this setup won't work for shit. Drops down to an ungodly low resolution with 60Hz max refresh rate. If I moved the two 27" monitors around and just use those, Surround works as I would expect it to.

Personally, though, never had much of a desire for Surround gaming but when the new Asus PG35VQ comes out in the next month or so (25" Ultrawide, 1440p, 200Hz) I may go with two of those and try out Surround :)
