    Default Stick Keys?

Every now and then when I'm typing, my laptop will hold my last pressed key typing out something like 10 spaces or 10 'g' etc, does anyone know why and/or how to fix?

Are you eating at your keyboard? Most times I find that "sticky" keys are a result of crumbs that have falled into the keyboard. Try a can of compressed air.

Sometimes, rarely, the spring on they actual key will fail. Ive seen this twice in 2 decades.

It's very rare that a laptop would contain a mechanical keyboard. Most likely it's using rubber domes or scissor switches. You're right though, the problem is very likely that it's just a dirty keyboard. Worst case scenario is probably that the key is broken and depending on what type of switches it uses, it may be possible to buy a replacement, but it would be a pretty tedious process.

I've never eaten over my keyboard. I'm far back when I'm eating and watching a video.

Things still collect inside your keyboard like dust and hair. You'd be really surprised how dirty the inside can be while looking absolutely pristine on the outside. Depending on what type of key caps you have, it may be possible to remove them to get a good look inside. Canned air would help whether you can remove the key caps or not, as it'll force small things out of cracks and back up through the keys on the other side of the keyboard.

I have a GT73VR and I had some sticky keys after a beverage spill occurred, interestingly enough they didn't stick for several months. I also have some keys in that area that seem to rub against the metal between the keys, perhaps that is happening. Also does the button stay down or does the membrane below stick? I'm a laptop fanatic as I game on one 1/2 the time and I'll link you to the GS63 owners lounge, there you will find many people who are familiar with your exact model. I have learned a ton from that forum.

The membrane below sticks, the key itself props back up.

If it's assembled like mine the keyboard can only be accessed by removing everything from the bottom. I would fill out a ticket with tech support.
