DESTINY 2 GOING TRIAL

That's right, guardians! The Destiny 2 division is officially launching as a trial division. With the reveal of an awesomely successful beta behind us, and the looming PC release on October 24th just a few short weeks away, we decided it was time to get a head start.

I'm planning to transfer full-time. What do I do?

Talk to your division leadership. They should be made aware of your intentions. If you are an NCO in your current division, please reach out to us as well before making any permanent changes. Once you are ready to switch, head over to our Division Structure and make a post stating your wish to move.

What about ingame clans?

Full-time members will be invited to apply to our in-game clan. Currently there is a 100 slot limit for these clans, so we will not be accepting any part-time members (to the ingame clan, please feel free to come and play with us). There is an additional constraint that only allows you to be in one single clan. While this isn't bad, it complicates our ability to effectively manage the group. We will have more news about part-timers in the coming weeks following the release.

Um... it's in 3 weeks. Why go trial so soon?

Like every division, recruiting is a big component of running a successful division. In order to get a leg up on other communities, as well as to ensure we get AOD's name out in the gaming community, we're spending these last few weeks promoting the division, and encouraging folks to apply ahead of the release. This, coupled with the fact that the console version (no multi-platform, unfortunately) has already been released, justified pursuing the opening of a trial division early.

We are excited to jump into the Destiny 2 Universe with all of you, and we look forward to seeing what the community has to offer AOD. Please reach out to us in our Trial Forums for any questions you may have.
